The 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris might not be as flashy and eye catching as the G-Class wagon or S-Class sedan, but the Metris still offers a sleeker and smoother design than most vans. The Metris comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, and keyless entry. Exterior color options for the 2016 Metris include Arctic White, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Jupiter Red, Navy Blue, and Obsidian Black Metallic.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris comes equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine and seven-speed automatic transmission, which work together to create 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the Metris is capable of towing up to 4,960 pounds and features a maximum payload of 2,502 pounds.

Fuel economy for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris differs between the Cargo and Passenger models. The Cargo yields an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Passenger, which is slightly heavier, yields an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The Metris comes standard with an 18.5 gallon fuel tank.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris is available as either a Passenger or Cargo van. The Passenger version features two rows of additional seating for up to eight people. The Cargo model provides 186 cubic feet of available cargo space. Both models are available with either standard barn doors or an optional liftgate. Standard features include air conditioning, Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB port, fabric upholstery, and a five-speaker sound system. If you’re willing to dish out a little more cash, the Metris is also available with a rearview camera, black leatherette seating material, navigation system, automatic climate control, and heated front seats.
