“Spacious and versatile, with near-Infiniti levels of luxury, the 2019 Nissan Armada also boasts the lowest predicted 5-Year Cost to Own in its class. The Armada rides on a proven, rugged foundation, which contributes to this SUV’s durability. The Nissan Armada offers comfortable eight-passenger seating, can tow up to 8,500 pounds and has legit off-road chops,” according to KBB.

The award-winning SUV is available at four trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve. You have the choice of two- or four-wheel drive on each trim. Each trim is equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and downshift rev matching to generate 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque.

Also impressing the KBB experts was the Armada’s well-appointed, spacious interior and responsive performance.

“The 2019 Armada is roomy and quiet, while its muscular V8 makes road trips something to look forward to rather than dread, not least because of its subdued-yet-thrilling rumble. The front seats are nicely cushioned and supportive, enabling long driving stints,” according to KBB. “The automatic transmission does its job efficiently and all-wheel-drive versions have a low gearing range for optimum off-road ability, which is enhanced by a useful ground clearance of 9.1 inches.”
