2020 Blazer Simplifies Towing with an Exciting New Feature
Recently, we mentioned the 2020 Chevy Blazer’s cosmetic and mechanical details. The new Redline Package and an auto stop-start override function aren’t the only extra perks this model is getting, though.
Chevy has announced that the model will also include a feature that will simplify the towing process. Interestingly enough, Chevy already added this feature to the Silverado. Now, the brand aims to increase the convenience of the 2020 Blazer model.
Hitch Guidance with Hitch View
As its name implies, the new feature includes two different functions. Hitch Guidance displays a view of what’s behind the Blazer, directly onto the dashboard touch screen. It also provides dynamic guidelines for both the vehicle and the trailer hitch.
Hitch View, on the other hand, supplies a top-down view of the hitch. It also has a “zoom in” feature for a closer perspective. You can also use Hitch View during the drive, to make sure that the trailer remains connected to the hitch.

Requirements for the new feature
In order to get the Hitch Guidance with Hitch View feature, you must select the brand’s V92 Trailering Equipment Package. You’ll also want to choose either the RS or Premier trims of the 2020 Blazer. That’s because these are the only trims that will include this new feature as part of the package, as GM Authority confirms.
The Hitch Guidance with Hitch View feature does away with the need to have a second person stand outside the vehicle to help hitch the trailer properly. If you do a lot of solo towing, you’ll appreciate the convenience of this technology. It’s just one more reason to get excited about the 2020 Blazer.
