Powertrain and efficiency

Powered by an efficient 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, the 2020 Versa pumps out 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission, which lets it earn 35 mpg on the highway. Upgrade to the Xtronic CVT to cruise with a cool 40 mpg on the highway.
