Why did they partner together?
Hello Sunshine creates and praises stories focused on women, and it shares a number of stories through Reese’s Book Club. Each month, Reese Witherspoon selects a new novel for the book club, which causes many of the novels to reach the New York Times best-seller list.
It makes sense that Hello Sunshine and Buick are working together since women account for almost 55 percent of the Buick customer base. And, by partnering with Hello Sunshine, Buick can better connect with and improve its entertainment options for women.
What does the partnership entail?
The Buick Encore GX now comes with a built-in Reese’s Book Club app in the infotainment system. Through the touch screen, you can choose from a variety of podcasts and audiobooks in the app and listen to them during the drive. Many of the other newer Buick models will gain the app at the beginning of 2021.
Buick vehicles will also be featured in upcoming Hello Sunshine TV shows and movies. The media company is currently working on “Daisy Jones & The Six” and additional projects that will be released on popular streaming services. Buick has not revealed which shows its models will appear in, but it has stated that the Encore GX will be the first to grace the screen.
