Ford’s partnership with Carhartt centers on durability and worksite-focused branding rather than lifestyle positioning. The package introduces several visual references to the Detroit-based workwear company, including reflective exterior logos and interior stitching inspired by Carhartt apparel.
The new edition also expands on the standard XLT trim with additional lighting equipment, dedicated wheels, and a spray-in bedliner included as standard equipment. Ford confirmed that the package will launch alongside the rest of the 2027 Super Duty range.
Exterior Design Highlights A Workwear-inspired Identity
The 2027 Super Duty Carhartt edition is primarily an appearance package, though it incorporates several utility-oriented additions. The truck features reflective Carhartt logos mounted on the fenders along with textured graphics extending across the body sides and tailgate.
Ford also added a Carhartt logo to the rear of the cab so that the branding remains visible when the tailgate is lowered. The package includes LED roof markers and clearance lamps, LED reflectors, LED fog lights, and a high-mounted LED center brake light positioned at the rear of the cab.
One of the more specific design references appears in the wheel design. The truck rides on exclusive 20-inch wheels inspired by manhole covers located near Carhartt’s flagship store in Detroit, a detail tied to the shared Detroit roots of both companies.

Interior Receives Dedicated Carhartt Details
Inside the cabin, Ford incorporated several elements modeled after Carhartt workwear. The brand’s signature triple-stitch pattern appears on the door panels, while the center console lid, map pockets, and headrests also receive unique trim treatments linked to the collaboration.
According to the report published by Car and Driver, the package also includes Carhartt-branded rubber all-weather floor mats designed to protect the cabin from mud, water, and debris commonly associated with jobsite use.
The overall interior approach remains close to the standard XLT configuration while introducing visual changes centered on durability-focused styling rather than major equipment revisions.

Engine Options And Pricing Remain Aligned With The Standard XLT
Ford will offer the Carhartt package with the same engine lineup available on the regular XLT crew cab. Buyers can choose the naturally aspirated 7.3-liter gasoline V-8 producing 430 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque.
The optional 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V-8 will also be available in two output levels. One version produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque, while the higher-output configuration delivers 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet.
Every Carhartt edition includes four-wheel drive as standard equipment. Ford also confirmed that the trucks come with a spray-in bedliner from the factory. The package includes the Premium Package by default and can additionally be combined with the FX4 Off-Road package.

Ford set pricing for the Carhartt configuration at an additional $4,195 over the base price of the XLT trim. The company said the package will go on sale together with the broader 2027 Super Duty lineup.
