July Sales for Nissan Group Canada Puts Nissan Rogue in Best-Selling Position

The Nissan Rogue earned the best-selling position for Nissan Canada in July. With 3,094 models sold, the Rogue was followed by the Nissan Kicks, which posted a record-breaking 1,480 units. Compared to 2018, Rogue sales increased by 1.2 percent while the Kicks recorded an impressive 145.4 percent increase.

Also posting increases were the number three best-seller, the Nissan Murano, with a 6.7 percent increase and the 65.3 percent increase-earning Nissan Micra. A total of 1,035 Nissan Muranos were sold while 600 Nissan Micras hit the open road in July.
Although the Rogue, Kicks, Murano, and Micra posted sales increases in July 2019 over July 2018, overall, Nissan Division sales in July 2019, 10,215, is an 11.9 percent decrease over last July’s sales numbers of 11,593.
The 2019 Nissan Rogue is available at four trim levels, S, Special Edition, SV, and SL Platinum with ProPILOT assist. The crossover boasts standard smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as advanced driver assist technologies such as Standard Intelligent Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Each trim is equipped with a 2.5-litre DOHC four-cylinder engine that generates 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.

The 2019 Nissan Murano is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired to an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission to generate 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque.
