The 2019 Lincoln Continental and 2019 Lincoln Nautilus each came away from the AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards with segment awards, a testament to both vehicles’ ability to deliver on its promises.
The 2019 AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards polled 50,000 new vehicle owners from a wide range of brands and asked them to consider 14 different aspects of their vehicles. The respondents are asked whether these factors live up to expectations they had before purchase or if they’d like to see changes made, and the vehicles with the highest level of satisfaction/fewest requests for changes earns the top prize in the segment.

When all was said and done, the 2019 Lincoln Continental was deemed the most satisfying among luxury cars and the Nautilus was the most satisfying among executive luxury SUVs.
“Our Ideal Vehicle Awards speak to a vehicle’s layout and design,” says AutoPacific president George Peterson. “Giving owners a chance to tell us what they would change and how they would change it reveals which vehicles are best designed to meet their needs and expectations.”
Lincoln is no stranger to satisfying its customers — this year, the brand topped all American luxury brands in both the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and the J.D. Power APEAL Study. This also isn’t the first time this year that AutoPacific has honored Lincoln for satisfaction: In August, Lincoln won seven honors in the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, including best-in-class luxury crossover honors for the Nautilus and top car overall honors for the Continental.
