Mazda Wins Three Automotive Brand Contest Awards
Mazda is having a good day, as it just announced that it has won three awards from the prestigious Automotive Brand Contest: Team of the Year, Best of the Best in the Exterior Volume Brand category, and an award in the Parts and Accessories category.
The Automotive Brand Content is sponsored by the German Design Council, and awards 19 total awards, with 15 regular awards and four special awards. Winners are selected by juries of journalists and experts in design.
Mazda won Team of the Year for its global design team, which created “innovative and consistent brand design” from positions in the US, Japan, and Germany based on the KODO design language.
Best of the Best in the Exterior Volume Brand was awarded for the Mazda CX-3, which went on sale this year, and the Parts and Accessories award was given for Mazda’s Bike by KODO concept track racer that was displayed at the Milan Design Week back in April.
“We are very excited about the awards presented to the CX-3, the Bike by KODO Concept and especially our Global Design Team,” said Ikuo Maeda, Executive Officer and Design Chief of Mazda’s Design Division. “The entire team will continue to work to create dynamic and energetic designs that will excite our customers.”
