Each prestigious 2020 ALG Pre-Owned Value Award went to a vehicle that had the lowest forecasted deprecation between the ages of two years old and five years old in its segment. Specifically, the forecasted depreciation covers the period of time between 2019 and 2022.
ALG is the analytics subsidiary of TrueCar, Inc. as well as the benchmark for forecasting the future values of vehicles. It honors the vehicles in 27 different segments that are aged two to five years old and are forecast to have the least depreciation during the following 36 months while in the used market.
AGL’s proprietary automotive segmentation dictates vehicle segmentation by looking at vehicles’ cross-shop information, transaction price, and vehicle size.
Based on its EPA-estimated mileage rating, the Mitsubishi Mirage is the most fuel-efficient, gasoline-powered vehicle in the U.S. Its engine gets an impressive EPA-estimated 43 mpg on the highway when it pairs with the optional continuously variable transmission.
The starting price point of the Mirage is also an affordable $13,795. In addition, a number of Mitsubishi warranties back the car, including a fully transferable 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, a 5-year/unlimited mile roadside assistance, 7-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty, and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.
