When Nissan started its Calling all TITANs campaign, it named the National Parks as one of its main beneficiaries. Like the company has done for two of its other partners, this month Nissan donated a custom work truck to the Grand Canyon Conservancy through the National Park Foundation to help keep our natural spaces beautiful.

Called the Ultimate Parks TITAN, the upgraded Nissan TITAN’s main purpose is to get Canyon Field School students to experience the great outdoors. The program is a partnership between the National Park Service and Grand Canyon Conservancy and works with younger explorers. Besides helping with education, Nissan’s support helped the Arizona Conservation Corps win a grant to repair park infrastructure this summer and get the park ready for its upcoming wave of visitors.

The first thing that stands out about the Ultimate Parks TITAN is its new bright blue exterior and a unique trailer. That trailer is actually a Black Series Camper custom off-road trailer for a home base while the Canyon Field School explores the area. The bed of the truck also has a Rhino Rack Batwing Awning and CVT hard shell tent for additional shelter. Its ICON 3-inch suspension lift kit, Method 701 Trail Series Wheels, and Nitto Trail Grappler Tires will help navigate the region’s rocky terrain.

“The Ultimate Parks TITAN is a physical manifestation of the support Nissan is providing to parks and park champions coast to coast,” said Will Shafroth, the president of the National Park Foundation. “From the Grand Canyon, to the Great Smokies, to Glacier Bay in Alaska, Nissan’s support bolsters the critical work of local partners connecting youth to parks and service corps helping to restore these treasured places.”

The Ultimate Parks TITAN is the third and final Nissan truck Nissan has donated as part of the Calling All TITANs program. Earlier this year, it donated the Ultimate Service TITAN to the American Red Cross and the Ultimate Work TITAN to Habitat for Humanity. The promotion might be over, but we hope that Nissan keeps working hard to help America a better place to live.
