“The annual State Fair of Texas is deep in the heart of truck country — with more than 2 million fairgoers attending each year. What better arena for the world debut of this powerful new 2020 TITAN,” said Tiago Castro, director, North American Light Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Nissan North America, Inc.

The 2020 TITAN, available with 4×2 or 4×4, boasts best-in-class horsepower and torque ratings, 400 and 413, respectively, thanks to its 5.6-liter Endurance V8 gasoline engine paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

A new grille design accentuates the bold exterior changes on the 2020 model, which also includes “double boomerang” LED daytime running lights, enlarged LED headlights, added LED lighting in the pickup bed, and tailgate finishers. Drivers can choose between five trim levels and three new colors for the exterior.

“TITAN’s powerful new look matches its powerful new 400 horsepower-strong powertrain. In addition, it includes a higher degree of differentiation between grade levels. For example, there are three separate grille designs and five different wheels, allowing for more owner customization straight from the factory,” said Castro.

A suite of six driver assist features — Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking (a class-exclusive system), High Beam Assist, and Lane Departure Warning — is standard on the 2020 TITAN under the automaker’s Nissan Safety Shield 360 designation.
