The 2020 Nissan Armada is on the way, and thanks to the production of a new commercial, you can (kind of) see what it looks like. According to CarBuzz, the Armada was out and about in the Middle East for filming. While the images are low in quality, the basics of the updated SUV’s shape can be seen.

This isn’t the first time new Nissan vehicles have been caught sans camouflage before their debut because of a commercial. We’re surprised the brand hasn’t tried a decoy like the Blackbird.

If we’re being honest, this technically isn’t the Nissan Armada, it is its European sibling the Nissan Patrol. While they are pretty much the same vehicle, it’s possible that the true Armada could look slightly different from what was spotted by spy photographers.

In case you didn’t know, the Nissan Armada is the largest SUV in the Nissan lineup. It’s perfect for larger-than-life luxury at a reasonable price. It can cruise on local highways, but you can also buy it with performance features to make rough terrain a breeze.

The most noticeable change in the 2020 Nissan Armada is the grille shape. It’s bigger, and Nissan’s chrome V seems confined to the edges to the grille, whereas the 2019 Nissan Armada has it closer to the badge at the center. The air intake areas under the chrome grille also look different than before.

Since the photos aren’t that good, and they’re only of the exterior, we’ll have to wait for an official vehicle announcement from Nissan to learn more about the 2020 Nissan Armada, hopefully before this winter’s auto show season. If you can’t wait to take home an Armada of your own, there are plenty of 2019 options on dealership lots now.
