Toyota Ad Pokes Fun at Jay-Z and Solange’s Recent Elevator Fight
Here at The News Wheel, we’re not ones for gossip. Okay, we admit we do like to see the occasional blow-up between celebrities, people on Twitter, or even naked Tesla drivers and the rest of the world. So, obviously, we were thrilled when a video surfaced last week depicting Solange Knowles attacking her brother-in-law Jay-Z in an elevator. If you missed it, allow us to give you a moment with the video we’ve provided below for your viewing pleasure.
Now, you’re probably wondering what all this drama has to do with cars (answer: very little, unless you mean elevator cars). But Japanese automaker Toyota has jumped on this enjoyable disagreement, proving that it does, in fact, have a sense of humor. Yesterday evening, Twitter user @Brilliant_Ads tweeted a picture of what we can only hope is a real ad, depicting a large Toyota acting as a barrier between Jay-Z and Solange. The caption underneath reads “For when you need space,” suggesting that putting a Toyota between two feuding relatives is the perfect solution when your family gets a little too drunk at the next reunion.

While we have no idea as to the authenticity of this ad, we applaud Toyota for its creativity here. If it’s real, bravo Toyota. And if not, we got a great laugh, so thank you!
