When properly equipped, the 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 can tow a maximum weight of 9,300 pounds and delivers impressive fuel economy.

“Following a complete redesign for 2019, the Silverado has been further improved for 2020 with a new 3.0-liter 277-horsepower V6 turbo-diesel engine paired with a 10-speed automatic. The Silverado was already a good choice, with a good combination of ride and handling for a pickup, along with ample passenger room,” reports U.S. News & World Report writer Jim Travers.

The Chevy Silverado 2500/3500HD models are stronger, bigger, and bolder than ever thanks to a redesign for 2020. When properly equipped, the 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500HD can tow a maximum weight of 35,500 pounds and the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine is rated at 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Silverado HD models also boast advanced technologies and driver assist systems and a refined interior.

“New tech features include up to 15 different camera views to help with hauling and backing, and the cabin is larger with more creature comforts and tech features. Just keep in mind that opting for the Duramax diesel will add more than $11,000 to the cost of a Silverado 2500HD,” Travers adds.
