2015 Ram 1500 Rebel Coming to Overland Expo
The 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel roared onto the stage at the Cobo Center in Detroit at this year’s North American International Auto Show, but we haven’t caught sight of it since. All of that is about to change when Ram takes the Rebel to the Overland Expo in Mormon Lake, Arizona. The truck maker will even be holding a special press conference at 11am on Saturday, May 16th, so be prepared for even more news then.
Each year, the Overland Expo attracts a crowd of more than 6,000 “explorers, adventurers, off-highway journeyers and their families.” According to Fiat Chrysler, the event entails three long days of camping, classes, workshops, and outdoor-product demos. (Yes, that means attendees will get to see the Ram Rebel in action at the expo.)
Watch Out: Two Hot New Ram Sport Editions Available
“The Ram Rebel fulfills customer demand for an aggressively styled, factory-built off-road-style package,” remarked Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand. “Overland Expo has grown to be a must-attend event for adventurers who rely on their vehicles to get them off the beaten path. It’s a great fit for Ram Trucks.”
The Ram Rebel is offered with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (good for 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque) or the more ferocious 5.7-liter HEMI (producing 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque). You can learn more about the all-new 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel here.
