2016 Mirai Coming in October, Available at Eight California Dealerships
It has long been known Toyota’s groundbreaking hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle would be arriving sometime near the end of 2015 and exclusively in California. Today, Toyota has confirmed the whens and the wheres.
It was confirmed that the Mirai will be arriving at eight dealerships in California in October of this year. For those of you in Cali, the dealerships named among the first to receive the Mirai are the following: San Francisco Toyota, Roseville Toyota, Stevens Creek Toyota (San Jose), or Toyota of Sunnyvale in NoCal; and Longo Toyota (El Monte), Toyota Santa Monica, Toyota of Orange, and Tustin Toyota in SoCal.

Toyota says that interested parties can sign up for more information at www.Toyota.com/Mirai, where more information is also being disclosed with regards to the fuel and the fueling stations necessary to power the Mirai.
Order requests will officially open sometime this summer, though Toyota has yet to specify a date. The Mirai will be priced at $57,500 at launch and will be available for lease at $499/month. While no EPA estimates are available, it’s expected that the Mirai will return approximately 60 MPGe. Availability will be limited to 3,000 models through 2017.
