2018 Dodge Challenger Overview
It has officially been 10 years since the latest rendition of the Dodge Challenger was first introduced to the automotive community. That’s a decade without any major redesign for the performance model.
Of course, Dodge evidently doesn’t see the need to rush out a new redesign any time soon, with the Challenger being more popular than ever. That popularity is sure to grow even more with the introduction of the Challenger’s highly anticipated, drag strip-designed edition: the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon.

2018 Dodge Challenger Performance
In the past, the Dodge Challenger has worked to cement its status as one of the most powerful performance models in the automotive world. The 2018 Dodge Challenger is set to go even further to secure the Challenger’s performance legacy.
The standard 3.6-Liter Pentastar® V6 24-Valve VVT engine delivers 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. However, real adrenaline junkies will have their eyes set on the 6.2-Liter Supercharged HEMI® V8 -SRT® Demon engine, which produces an earth-shattering 840 horsepower, when properly equipped.

2018 Dodge Challenger Efficiency
A massive amount of power often comes at the cost of efficiency. Nevertheless, the 2018 Dodge Challenger starts off with a rather decent 19/30/23 MPG City/Highway/Combined, only losing major efficiency points after adopting some of its more powerful engine options.

2018 Dodge Challenger Interior
Though power may be the primary focus of the Dodge Challenger, that doesn’t mean that Dodge has skimped out when it comes to interior comfort and technology. A standard leather steering wheel and shift knob add to the Challenger’s sporty feel, while drivers also receive FCA’s Uconnect® 4 interface right off the bat.
Even the Hellcat and Demon variations of the Challenger come with some pretty nifty features, like a Wildwheel Alcantara® steering wheel. Of course, with the drag-focused Demon, drivers can remove all of the interior amenities that they find to be unnecessary.
