Calling the 2019 Genesis G70 a “complete package,” the Canadian Automotive Jury recently honored the sedan with its annual “Best of the Best” award.

“This most recent award for G70 is particularly meaningful,” said Richard Trevisan, Genesis Motors Canada’s brand director. “The members of the Canadian Automotive Jury bring together a broad collective expertise and represent some of the top media outlets across the country. The accolade is therefore a testament to the exceptional achievements of our design and engineering teams in creating the G70.”

The Canadian Automotive Jury is made up of 10 auto journalists from around the country. To win “Best of the Best,” the G70 had to outdo nine other finalists.

As Genesis’ first entry in the compact luxury sedan segment, the G70 competes against the renowned driving dynamics of the world’s best automakers, like BMW and Mercedes-Benz — and matches up impressively.

The G70 rides on a strong, rigid, and lightweight platform, giving it the ability to handle with spirit and ease. Technologies like launch control, rack-mounted motor-driven power steering and dynamic torque vectoring control and available all-wheel drive enable outstanding acceleration, steering, cornering and grip. When equipped with a 365-horsepower, 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the G70 can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

The powerful performance of the G70 is matched by its sleek, muscular beauty. Inside, the sophisticated cabin is lined with soft-touch materials and offers drivers their choice of premium sport seating options. Infotainment tech includes an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available navigation and premium audio. Customers can also opt for a heads-up display and surround-view camera system.
