The Increased Torque of the Cadillac CT5-V

The sedan’s increased torque and capable features
The latest figures of the Society of Automotive Engineers potentially show an improvement of five lb-ft of torque and five horsepower for the 2020 Cadillac CT5-V. As such, the sedan would reach 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.
The Cadillac CT5-V comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine, which pairs to a new 10-speed automatic transmission. There’s also an electronic limited-slip rear differential.
The car comes standard with rear-wheel-drive, though you can opt for all-wheel-drive for better handling on the road. The Cadillac CT5-V also features chassis upgrades, such as Performance Traction Management, a Brembo front braking system, and Vehicle Control Mode with a customizable V-Mode.
The sedan drives on 19-inch wheels with summer-only performance tires for the RWD model and all-season tires for the AWD model. The car also has a stylish exterior with quad exhaust tips, a creative rear diffuser, V-Series mesh grilles, and dark accents.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a V-Mode steering wheel control and a performance persona instrument cluster. The new interior of the Cadillac CT5-V matches that of the Cadillac CT5.
An Array of Options: Finding the right car
You can expect to see the 2020 Cadillac CT5-V go on sale near the beginning of the 2020 calendar year. The new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has yet to have a release date or specs, but the model should be significantly more powerful than even the Cadillac CT5-V.
