The Escalade IQ represents Cadillac’s entry in the full-size luxury electric SUV segment, while the Escalade IQL serves as its extended-length counterpart. Both models are produced by General Motors and remain among the brand’s flagship electric vehicles.

According to GM Authority, the updated versions of both SUVs are scheduled to enter production as 2027 model-year vehicles. While deliveries are expected to begin in 2027, no further details about launch timing have been provided.

Production Scheduled for Late 2026

According to GM Authority, production of the updated 2027 Cadillac Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL is scheduled to start on December 7, 2026. The vehicles will be built at GM’s Factory Zero facility in Detroit, Michigan.

The start of production will mark the arrival of the 2027 model year for Cadillac’s electric full-size SUV range. Deliveries are expected to follow in 2027, although no additional information regarding rollout plans has been released. All dates remain tentative and could be subject to change.

Existing Powertrain and Range Figures Remain Unchanged

Buyers can still expect a dual-motor powertrain producing 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Cadillac also advertises a driving range of 465 miles on a single charge for the vehicle.

These figures were cited as part of the current specifications associated with the electric Escalade lineup. The SUVs continue to occupy the three-row full-size luxury segment while emphasizing long-range electric capability.

These performance and range figures remain part of the package as production of the updated models approaches.
