The announcement coincides with Cadillac’s inaugural Formula 1 season and its first race on American soil at the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. The model blends performance upgrades with design elements tied to the brand’s new presence in international motorsport.

The CT5-V Blackwing already stands as a flagship performance sedan in Cadillac’s lineup. With this collector edition, the automaker emphasizes both engineering enhancements and symbolic details linked to Formula 1 and the FIA.

Increased Performance Through Motorsports Collaboration

The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series benefits from an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports. According to Motor1, this modification raises the output of the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque to 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet.

The model is paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, a notable choice in a segment increasingly dominated by automatic gearboxes. Every unit also includes the Precision Package, which adds upgraded suspension components, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. This package alone represents an $18,000 upgrade on the standard Blackwing.

Design Details and Limited Production Run

All 26 units of the collector series feature Midnight Stone Frost exterior paint. The finish is combined with Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, gloss-black badging, monochromatic crests, and Harbor Gray Metallic brake calipers.

The lower body incorporates carbon-fiber elements accented by a Switchblade Silver pinstripe. Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2026, with availability limited to the United States and Canada. Cadillac has capped production at just 26 examples, reinforcing the exclusivity of the model.

Formula 1 Branding Integrated Throughout the Vehicle

The collector series includes multiple references to Formula 1 and the FIA, integrated into both exterior and interior elements. The F1 logo appears embossed on the lower front doors, while the rear spoiler carries both F1 and FIA branding. The FIA logo is also present on the rocker panels.

Inside the cabin, the sill plates display “Cadillac Formula 1,” and the seats feature embossed F1 graphics. The manual shifter is fitted with a dedicated F1 medallion. Under the hood, the supercharger cover includes a CNC-machined F1 logo alongside a laser-etched FIA logo.

Pricing has not been announced. A standard CT5-V Blackwing equipped with the Precision Package and both Carbon Fiber Packages is listed at $135,175, and the final cost of this collector edition remains to be confirmed.
