Lincoln Sponsoring Automotive Fine Arts Society Art Show at Pebble Beach
The Automotive Fine Arts Society announced this week that it has once again chosen The Lincoln Motor Company to be the sponsor of its upcoming art show at the legendary Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Lincoln has served as the sponsor of the art show, which enters its 31st year in 2016, for 20 years. The event will take place on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, and it will feature automotive-inspired art rendered in just about every medium imaginable.
“Lincoln has been our partner for two decades and has helped create a truly one-of-a-kind art show at the country’s most renowned automotive event,” said Ken Eberts, Automotive Fine Arts Society president. “Their patronage has helped heighten awareness of automotive fine art across the globe and vault our members to the forefront of the genre. We’re pleased to enter another Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with Lincoln as a valued partner who underscores the value and prestige of this event.”

“Lincoln has enjoyed a tremendous, longstanding partnership with AFAS at Pebble Beach,” said Kumar Galhotra, President, Lincoln Motor Company. “AFAS artists represent the pinnacle of taste and quality which mirrors Lincoln’s desire of providing the highest levels of luxury experience for its clients. The core values of Lincoln—outstanding objects of beauty and elegance, merged with personally crafted experiences—are illustrated perfectly under the scenic backdrop of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.”
Lincoln also commissioned artist Dennis Brown to create a piece of original art, entitled “2017 Lincoln Navigator Concept along the Coast,” which is featured on invitations to the event.
