“We’re making Automatic Emergency Braking standard across all grades of our best-selling models, including Rogue, Rogue Sport and now Kicks. It’s part of our comprehensive vision for helping reduce fatalities known as Nissan Intelligent Mobility,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.

Powering the 2018 Kicks is a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine with Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) paired to an Xtronic transmission that earns a rating of 125 horsepower, 115 lb-ft of torque, and an EPA-estimated combined rating of 33 mpg.

“Kicks’ unique combination of expressive design, excellent fuel economy, intelligent technology and advanced safety features adds up to one thing — exceptional value,” added Bunce. “And, with its good ground clearance, high eye point, electric power steering, and small turning radius, Kicks is a great vehicle for both everyday and weekend adventures.”

The all-new Kicks features Nissan’s signature V-motion grille, floating roof, and boomerang taillights and headlights, along with a “high crossover stance” and high wheel arch fenders. LED low beam headlights with LED signature accents are available. Seven colors and five two-tone combinations are available for the Kicks exterior.
