As the Chicago Auto Show gears up to begin this weekend, there will undoubtedly be a bountiful amount of model reveals during the annual event. However, one of the year’s most highly-anticipated vehicles won’t be revealed until more than a month later.
Cadillac has confirmed that the Cadillac XT4 will make its official debut during the New York International Auto Show in March.
Prepare for Your Next Auto Show: What happens at an auto show
To be precise, the XT4 will actually be unveiled the day before press previews for the New York International Auto Show begin. Instead, the XT4 will reportedly make an appearance at the Cadillac House in Manhattan on March 27.
From there, the XT4 will make its way to the floor of the New York Auto Show. Those in attendance will be able to learn more about this upcoming Cadillac crossover.
The XT4 adds another utility model to the Cadillac lineup. This will be adventageous for the luxury brand, as the XT5 was easily the brand’s best-selling model in 2017, with a total of 68,312 units sold.
Despite success for the XT5, sales for the Cadillac lineup as a whole fell by 8% year-over-year. As the market begins to move toward crossovers and SUVs, the sedan-heavy Cadillac brand is falling a bit behind.

As the XT4 is the first of five major vehicles Cadillac plans to introduce by the end of 2020, we can expect to learn more about these other upcoming Cadillacs very soon.
