When we saw the 2015 Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition, we asked ourselves, how much more black could the Silverado be? The answer, we thought, was none.
None more black.
Well, Chevrolet has proved us wrong with the newly announced $1,595 Black Out Silverado package for regular- and double-cab 1500 WT models. It features 20-inch black painted aluminum wheels (the Midnight Edition just has 18-inch black wheels—that’s two fewer inches of blackness!), P275/55R20 all-season blackwall tires, deep dark tinted glass and, of course, some snazzy black bowties.
Prices for the 2015 Chevy Silverado Black Out edition start at $28,895, and the package is available for order now. In Chevrolet’s announcement about the Black Out, the automaker cribbed an old line from Henry Ford, promising that “customers can have any color they want, as long as it is black.”
