Ford Announces 2017 F-150 STX, Super Duty STX
If you’ve been considering getting a new Ford truck this year but want something that stands apart a bit more from the typical offering, then you are going to want to hear about the new STX Appearance Package available for the 2017 Ford F-150 and Super Duty.
“STX is for customers who want the utility of an F-Series truck in a stylish, well-optioned package at a competitive price,” said Doug Scott, Ford truck group marketing manager.
The 2017 Ford F-150 STX will slot between the XL and XLT trims, and is available with your choice of the 2.7-liter EcoBoost, 5.0-liter V8, or all-new 3.5-liter EcoBoost. It will be available for models in the SuperCab or SuperCrew body styles.
The F-150 STX will get exterior aesthetic touches that include: 20-inch machined-aluminum wheels with dark gray-painted pockets, black billet-style grille with black mesh insert and body-color surround, body-color front fascia, body-color front and rear bumpers, fog lamps, and STX Sport Box decal. On the inside, the F-150 STX gets 8-inch touchscreen with SYNC 3 and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, privacy glass, black sport cloth seats with a Flow-through Console and steering column-mounted shifter, and manual lumbar support for driver and passenger seats.
The Super Duty STX also slots above the XL trim and is available for all cab styles. Available with either the 6.2-liter V8 or 6.7-liter Power Stroke, the Super Duty STX adds a bright chrome grille, chrome front and rear step bumpers, aluminum wheels, unique fender vent badging, steering wheel-mounted cruise control, AM/FM stereo with single CD/MP3 player, and bright hub covers for SRW models. And, yes, it will come standard with the Super Duty’s incredible new four-barrel cup holders
The 2017 F-150 STX will start at $35,615; F-250 STX will start at $34,910; and F-350 STX will start at $36,080. All models are available for order today, with deliveries likely beginning later this fall.
