Well here’s something we can happily file under “Things We Hope We’ll Get in America Sometime Soon:” the Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions. These sporty little buggers take the Ford 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine and wring every last horsepower possible out of it, resulting in a Fiesta that can climb from 0-62mph in 9 seconds flat and achieves a top speed of 125 miles per hour.
So beastly. So sexy. What more could you ask for? Well, apart from the whole selling it to those poor souls who don’t happen to live in Europe thing.

Oh, did we mention that it supposedly gets 63 miles to the gallon and emits about 104g/km of CO2?

As one might expect, the Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions only come in…red and black. Yeah, that came totally out of left field, we know. They’ll run for an MSRP of £15,995, or about $27,112 USD, making them about $6,000 more expensive than the Fiesta ST.

They should be available in showrooms around Europe sometime in September. With a little bit of luck and just the right amount of clamoring, we can hope to see something comparable to the Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions in showrooms across the United States…well, some time.
