Latest Dodge Demon Teaser Video Focuses on Customization for the Demon
Earlier this week, it was announced that the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon would come standard with only one seat in order to contribute to its massive 215-pound weight loss. As such, it’s easy to assume that the Dodge Demon is primarily meant to be a drag vehicle of sorts. However, if the Demon has been anything up to this point, it has been unpredictable. With the latest teaser for the Dodge Demon, Dodge sets out to remind us all why it’s important not to assume things.
The latest Dodge teaser video focuses on customization for the Dodge Demon.
Drag Racing with Dodge: New Challenger Hellcat ADR: Wide Design for the Drag Strip
The video can be viewed below:
The teaser begins by showing off a mysterious crate, filled with different parts and equipment for the Dodge Demon. The gear is collected and laid out on the ground by a masked driver who looks like the Stig’s evil twin brother.
What kind of parts could be housed inside this Demon treasure box? Dodge states that the crate contains 18 components, including Demon spare wheels, Demon-branded track tools, Direct Connection Demon Performance Parts, and a “Demon Track Pack System.”
The purpose of these Demon-branded parts is to allow drivers to customize the Dodge Demon to fit their own needs. Even though the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon seems to comes standard with a focus on drag strip performance, Dodge has stated that it wants each driver to determine what kind of vehicle they want the Demon to be. Furthermore, Dodge has promised that this level of customization can be accessed at any time before or after the vehicle is purchased.
Hellcat Capabilities: Charger and Challenger: 2017 Hellcat Upgrades
From the sounds of it, Dodge wants the Demon to be a muscle car that fits the needs of any performance-vehicle driver, no matter what they plan on using the Demon for. This focus on vehicle customization will undoubtedly play a large role in the upcoming revelations surrounding the Dodge Demon.
