In anticipation of the sale date in North America, Mazda North American Operations has released the pricing for its brand-new entry-level subcompact crossover: the 2016 Mazda CX-3.
The CX-3 will start with an MSRP of $19,960 for the CX-3 Sport with front-wheel drive.

The car comes standard with a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine, delivering 146 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, paired at every trim level with a SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-3 achieves 29 mpg in the city and 35 mph on the highway.
One upgrade for this, though, is Mazda’s predictive i-ACTIV all-wheel drive (for $1,250), where the vehicle will take into account the temperature, road conditions, steering angle, weather, and other factors to control where power should be sent to the wheels for maximum stability. With the all-wheel-drive, the CX-3 gets 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg in the highway.
