Mitsubishi Confirms Electric-Centered Paris Motor Show Lineup
Mitsubishi is all ready for the 2016 Paris Motor Show, and it looks like its theme is all about going green. The Japanese carmaker recently announced its lineup for the Paris-based auto show, and it will include world premiere of the GT-PHEV Concept, also known as the Ground Tourer concept car, which the brand announced back in June.

The GT-PHEV Concept will be powered by a high-capacity battery pack, along with three electric motors and a small internal-combustion engine. Exact specifications for the engine have yet to be released, but Mitsubishi has stated that the model will have a 75-mile all-electric range and a hybrid range of 746 miles.
Not too shabby for an SUV.
For this concept car, you can expect a surprisingly breathtaking design. With a rounded rear end design and a floating roofline, many industry experts are speculating that the GT-PHEV could preview the next-generation Mitsubishi Outlander. If this is the case, we definitely won’t be disappointed.

Along with this new concept car, Mitsubishi’s booth—which has been titled, “Driving Beyond: Another Step Forward with SUVs and Electric Power”—will also display the popular eX Concept that debuted last year and the European version of the Outlander and Outlander PHEV models. Throughout the show, the Japanese carmaker will also display its most fuel-efficient models, including the i-MiEV electric car, Mirage compact car, the Triton pickup, and the ASX and Pajero SUVs.
