The Washington Huskies will be facing off against the Boise State Broncos at the 2019 Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 21. At the game, Mitsubishi will also be supporting the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation.

A Top Safety Pick: Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

What Mitsubishi is doing for the foundation

Mitsubishi Motors North American is partnering with Tony Berti, a former San Diego Chargers lineman, and his wife in order to lend support to their charity, the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation. Goodie Two Shoes gives disadvantaged children new socks, shoes, and other necessities for positive development and good health.

Mitsubishi is supporting the foundation as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, “Small Batch – Big Impact.” The automaker also has been implementing the CUV, or Community Utility Vehicle, program, which loans vehicles to small nonprofits.

At halftime of the bowl game, Mitsubishi will give the 2020 Eclipse Cross to Goodie Two Shoes to help them reach children in need. Ally Financial will also be giving $10,000 to the charity to help cover operational expenses of the foundation.

“We can’t express how much the support from Mitsubishi means to us. We can’t wait to put the Eclipse Cross to use and continue to provide children with new socks and shoes, a positive experience, and the support they deserve,” said Nikki Berti, co-founder, Goodie Two Shoes Foundation.
