Details on the recent Mitsubishi ASG awards
ASG utilizes its Automotive Performance Index™ to rank the value of brands, specifically measuring purchase and operating costs of vehicle ownership for the first 6.5 years. The 2019 study examined the data from 1,640 models to determine each vehicle’s market value.
When comparing the study’s large variety of models, which included cars, crossovers, and SUVs, ASG found that Mitsubishi has a value that is an astounding 27 percent better than the industry average.
According to Colby Self, managing director at ASG, one of the reasons Mitsubishi ranks so highly is because “Mitsubishi continues to differentiate itself with its synergistic model lineup that leverages light-weight vehicle architectures and fuel efficient powertrains — a combination that enhances performance while reducing both operating costs and life-cycle carbon emissions.”
Not only did Mitsubishi win the aforementioned brand awards, but it also won accolades for its individual car models. The 2019 Outlander won the “Best All-Around Performance Award” and the title of “Best All-Around Performance SUV.”
The 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage received both the “Best Economic Performance Award” and the “Best All-Around Performance Award.” Not to be overlooked, the 2019 Outlander Sport and Outlander PHEV were considered to be among the “Best 5 All-Around Performance” vehicles.
