The project arrives at a time when Ram already offers several performance-focused trucks in its lineup. Even so, neither company has disclosed the vehicle’s specifications, name, powertrain, or expected launch date.
For now, the teaser serves primarily as confirmation that Roush is expanding its activities beyond its traditional Ford-centered portfolio and is working directly with Ram on a new performance truck.
Roush Moves Beyond Its Traditional Ford Focus
Roush Performance is widely known for its work on Ford vehicles, including performance trucks and aftermarket upgrades. The Michigan-based company has played a role in creating some of the best-known high-performance Ford models.
Its current lineup includes modified Ford trucks such as the Nitemare street truck and the lifted RT6. The company also produces aftermarket parts and upgrade kits for vehicles including the Ford Bronco and Ford Mustang.
The new partnership therefore represents a significant change in direction, with Roush now collaborating with Ram on a factory-backed performance project.

A Teaser Image Offers Few Details About the Truck
Information about the vehicle remains limited. The only official clue currently available is a silhouette image published on Roush‘s Instagram page.
The shape shown in the teaser has led to speculation that the truck could be an even more performance-focused version of the Ram TRX or the Ram RHO. Both models already deliver substantial power, although neither Ram nor Roush has confirmed any connection between the upcoming project and those trucks.
No technical specifications, performance figures, pricing information, or production plans have been announced.

Several Ram Models Could Provide a Foundation for the Project
Although the companies have not disclosed the truck’s identity, Ram’s existing lineup offers several potential platforms for performance upgrades.
The recently revealed Ram 1500 Rumble Bee could be a candidate for additional performance components and tuning. The Ram 2500 Power Wagon is also among the models that could benefit from Roush’s expertise.

At this stage, the extent of the collaboration remains unknown. Ram and Roush have confirmed only that they are working together on a new performance truck, with further details expected to be revealed at a later date.
