“The new Dodge Challenger coupe further demonstrates our commitment to broaden the proliferation of advanced safety technologies, such as driver-assist features,” explained Scott Kunselman, who is the Senior Vice President of Vehicle Safety and Regulatory with FCA-North America.
The 2015 Challenger is the only car in its segment to offer a Forward Collision Warning system, which detects frontal collisions and alerts the driver visually and audibly in advance. NHTSA highlighted its availability during testing.
But it’s not just Forward Collision Warning that sets the Challenger apart. It’s more than 70 other safety feature in combination with the warning system, like Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Path Detection, that helped the 2015 Challenger earn its five-star overall safety rating.
