So, what’s new about the Ford EcoSport? Well, everything. The EcoSport is an all-new model added to Ford’s lineup for 2018. The EcoSport fits into the crossover/SUV segment, utilizing Ford’s award-winning EcoBoost powertrain to provide an efficient and peppy ride. The interior cabin is decorated with high-tech entertainment and safety features for the whole family to enjoy, plus comfortable materials.

2018 Ford EcoSport Exterior
The exterior styling of the EcoSport fits right in with Ford’s SUV and crossover lineup. With contoured siding, a swept-back windshield, and a strong, athletic stance, the EcoSport makes itself known. The EcoSport comes with 16-inch wheels at the base level, but you can customize your wheel design based on trim level; beginning on the Titanium, the EcoSport comes with 17-inch wheels for a more aggressive look.
The 2018 Ford EcoSport is available in 10 exterior colors: Canyon Ridge, Smoke, Shadow Black, Lightning Blue, Race Red, Ruby Red, Moondust Silver, White Platinum, Diamond White, and Blue Candy.

2018 Ford EcoSport Performance
The 2018 Ford EcoSport is equipped with the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine with auto start and stop technology, and it’s no surprise that the EcoBoost engine is paired to a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. As a whole, the powertrain produces 123 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. You can also opt for the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, standard on the SES, which produces a stronger 166 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque. The EcoBoost is paired with a front-wheel drive (FWD) configuration, while the four-cylinder comes with Intelligent four-wheel drive (4WD).

2018 Ford EcoSport Efficiency
The petite EcoBoost engine earns the EcoSport the best efficiency rating at 27 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. If you decide to upgrade your performance to the four-cylinder, you can expect an estimated 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

2018 Ford EcoSport Interior
Technology is a highlight in the 2018 EcoSport, with a SYNC infotainment system, smart-charging USB ports, and a message center and trip computer on the base trim. Upgraded technology features include a SYNC Connect infotainment system, a SYNC Connect Wi-Fi hotspot, push-button start, and a nine-speaker Harman audio system with a subwoofer. The SES also offers premium interior materials, including perforated leather-trimmed, heated front bucket seats.
