2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL Keeps $30,850 Starting Price
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL has a new name, but the SUV’s starting price remains the same for the new model year.
The Santa Fe XL’s entry-level trim, the SE FWD, starts at $30,850 — just like the 2018 model did. For 2019, the three-row, seven-passenger Santa Fe is now the Santa Fe XL. The smaller Santa Fe Sport is now just the Santa Fe.
For that $30,850, buyers will get a 3.3-liter GDI V6 engine, a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone temperature control, sliding and reclining second-row seats, and a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility.
The SE AWD trim starts at $32,600, adding a few features like all-wheel drive with Active Cornering Control and a windshield wiper de-icer.

For an extra $3,650, buyers can opt for the SE Premium Package and add features like heated front seats, leather seating surfaces, a hands-free liftgate, push button start, proximity key entry, and a pair of active safety features: a Blind Spot Detection System and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
The Limited FWD Ultimate starts at $39,550, while the Limited AWD Ultimate starts at $41,300. These trims offer an 8-inch infotainment system with updated navigation and traffic, 19-inch alloy wheels, a premium Infinity audio system, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, a Multi-View Camera System, rear parking sensors, and a panoramic sunroof.
An extra $2,100 adds an array of active safety features to the Limited Ultimate, including Smart Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, and Lane Departure Warning.
