The all-new 2020 Dodge Charger GT all-wheel-drive has a number of performance-enhancing features that can help you handle the roads throughout the year. For 2020, the car still comes with a powerful powertrain, while also offering components that can withstand different road conditions.

How the car takes on winter driving

The 2020 Dodge Charger GT AWD retains the classic look of the Charger with a spoiler, a fascia, sculpted side sills, a performance hood, a performance steering wheel that has paddle shifters, and high-bolstered seats. However, Dodge also adds AWD to make it easier for you to stay stable when driving.

“Most people think of Chargers and Challengers as high-performance muscle cars, which clearly they are, but they can also be four-season capable AWD performance cars,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Only Dodge offers vehicles that combine practicality and all-weather driving confidence without sacrificing muscle car attitude.”

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine powers the Charger GT AWD and produces 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque. Paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the engine earns an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway.

Inside the cabin, there’s an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen and a Dark Dub Plate instrument panel. Meanwhile, there are all-season performance tires and LED fog lamps on the exterior to help you drive through storms.

The all-wheel drive-system allows you to switch between all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive as needed, though you can also opt to have AWD activated at all times. As such, you can have fun driving experiences with RWD and then have more traction on slick streets with AWD.

Vehicle Dynamic Control and Electronic Stability Control let you enjoy the ride, even on snow-covered roads. For more excitement, you can also select Sport mode to quickly change gears and have higher revs.
