Jeep Named the Most Patriotic Brand in America by 2018 Brand Keys Survey | The News Wheel

Ironically, this honor comes right after Jeep eliminated the Patriot from its lineup

Even though it has been a full week since Independence Day, patriotic spirits are still at a high point for the year. In fact, there has been a lot of focus and discussion on patriotism during the past few months.

Companies and organizations have taken full advantage of that patriotism in order to build brand identities that are based around the concept. For many businesses, the colors of red, white, and blue define every initiative and marketing campaign that they launch.

Every year, brand constant company Brand Keys conducts a survey of more than 5,000 consumers to determine which brands are considered to be the most American. For its 16th annual 50 Most Patriotic Brands in America study, Jeep once again took the top spot.

Certain moves by Harley-Davidson have moved the brand down the list of patriotic companies

Jeep was also named the most American brand by the survey during 2017, even though it is the only company on the list with a headquarters outside the United States. Jeep’s automotive rival Ford landed a top spot on the list as well, rising from fifth place in 2017 to fourth place in 2018.

Tesla took the 32nd-place spot on the list, down from its 26th-place ranking the previous year. However, Harley-Davidson fell even further in terms of where it ranked on the list, landing 37th place compared to its 13th-place finish a year prior.

Other companies considered to be the most “American” included entertainment organizations like Disney and beverage manufacturers like Coca-Cola. Listed below are the top 10 most patriotic brands in America, according to the 2018 survey:
