Meet the Lexus LF-30 Electrified Concept

This EV takes futuristic styling to the next level. With its gull-wing doors and angular rear end, this electrified sedan leaves dull design in the dust. But its innovations are more than just skin deep — it gets a performance boost thanks to its revolutionary in-wheel electric motors. Plus, it’s packing a feature called Lexus Advanced Posture Control, which intelligently adjusts the car’s posture based on road conditions and driver input. If those features weren’t forward-thinking enough, the LF-30 Electrified Concept also impresses with its many sustainable materials and wireless battery charging system.
“The LF-30 Electrified Concept is an expression of our vision of an electrified future – and represents a fundamental leap in vehicle performance, handling, control and driver enjoyment for tomorrow,” explained the Director of Lexus in Canada, Robert Tsang. “The other two Concepts on display are drastically different, yet connected in a common philosophy and spirit of appreciation for craftsmanship and ultimately, the thrill of the drive.”

Other Lexus innovations

While the Lexus LF-30 may have taken center stage, you wouldn’t want to miss a chance to check out the Lexus LC Convertible Concept and the Lexus GX Overland Concept.
The Lexus LC Convertible concept boasts an open, airy design that begs to be taken for a joyride. The concept serves as a prototype for the automaker’s upcoming LC 500 Convertible, set to hit dealerships in late 2020.
On the other hand, the 2020 Lexus GX Overland Concept puts a luxurious spin on outdoor adventure. If you’ve ever wanted to go glamping in an SUV, the GX Overland Concept was designed with you in mind — it sports a rooftop tent with bed and even a shower cube for staying fresh, even when you’re out in the wilderness.
In addition to these concept models, Lexus showed off the rest of its lineup at the Canadian International Auto Show. If you want to check them out, the event runs from February 13-23, 2020.
