Dodge recently introduced the “Dodge Power Dollars” program, which provides a $10 per horsepower cash allowance to drivers that purchase a 2019 Dodge Durango, Charger, or Challenger. The goal of the program was to reach 500 million horsepower before 2020, and Dodge has already accomplished this goal.

Continuing High Sales: Dodge Challenger sales for 2019

The success of the program

Thanks in part to “Dodge Power Dollars,” the Dodge Challenger had record-high third-quarter sales this year. The Charger also had an impressive amount of third-quarter sales, given that it was higher than the third-quarter sales from the last 13 years.

The sales of the Charger and the Challenger have gone up by over 60 percent in the past decade. The calendar-year sales total of the Durango is also set to be its best since 2005.

Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America, said, “‘Dodge Power Dollars’ has more than exceeded our expectations, giving a huge boost to Dodge performance across the country.”

Even though Dodge has already surpassed its 500 million horsepower goal, the “Dodge Power Dollars” program is still continuing on. If you purchase a 2019 Durango, Charger, or Challenger by January 2, 2020, you can still receive the $10 per horsepower cash allowance. For example, the 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye reaches 797 horsepower, so you could gain a cash allowance of $7,970.

As a way of thanking loyal Dodge drivers for purchasing the aforementioned vehicles during the program, the brand is creating a social media event in the near future. Dodge will reveal specific details on the event in the following week.
