Pimp My Ride Host Xzibit Finishes Pimping Out Own Jeep Wrangler
Pimp My Ride has always given the world unrealistic expectations of what a dream car actually is. Xzibit, the show’s host for six seasons, took car customization to the extreme, offering individuals everything from a DJ stand that rises out of the car’s roof to a hot tub in an old-school van. Earlier this month, we discovered that Xzibit was pimping out his own ride—and it looks like we finally have a glimpse of the super customized Jeep Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was bought back in June, looking completely normal. We guess the rapper wanted something a bit different because he brought the Jeep over to his buddies at JCR Off Road for an aftermarket-makeover.
It looks like the Wrangler’s upgrades include HIDprojectors, big KMC Wheels, and some pretty awesome Toyo Tires. The rugged off-roader even has a Warn winch, making it perfect for adventures off the beaten path.
Xzibit has let the world see his badass new Jeep on Instagram, giving us a taste of the old days when his winking faces graced our screens as he revealed an unexpected aftermarket tweak to someone’s car. He also stated that these upgrades are just “Phase 1” of the Jeep’s overhaul, so it looks like we will have to keep an eye out for more of the rapper’s upgrades.
Who knows—maybe he’ll add a built-in DJ stand in “Phase 2”?
