The Farmer in All of Us

Finding that perfect gift for the farmer in your life just got a whole lot easier with the launch of the Ram Truck photography book, published by National Geographic and entitled, “The Farmer in All of Us: An American Portrait.” The book, which is available for $45 now, will arrive in retail stores in late spring 2014.

With 300-pages, this coffee table book reflects the beauty of farming, showing off a collection of agriculture and farming photography, including the images used by Ram in its “Farmer” Super Bowl commercial, which was inspired by Paul Harvey’s “So God Made a Farmer” essay. Purchases of “The Farmer in All of Us” allow the Ram Truck brand to contribute at least $25,000 to the National FFA Organization’s “Give the Gift of Blue” program, which donates blue corduroy jackets to FFA members who wouldn’t be able to afford one otherwise.

“Supporting farmers isn’t just about those who till the soil, it’s about reminding America who we are and where our greatness comes from,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group, LLC. “This book truly brings the ‘Farmer’ story to life, and continues to give back in support of the amazing students of the FFA who embody this spirit every day.”

Along with the beautiful collection of photography, the book also includes a foreword by Paul Harvey, Jr. and anecdotes from the 10 contributing photographers.
