A boring sedan, the 2019 Dodge Charger is most definitely not. Its sculpted silhouette, intense engine options, and well-appointed interior set the head-turning sedan apart from its counterparts on the market. Plus, its spacious cabin and cavernous trunk make it one of the “20 Roomiest Sedans in 2019,” according to the experts at U.S. News & World Report.

“If making an entrance is important, the square-jawed Dodge Charger does it better than most,” according to U.S. News & World Report writer Nick Kurczewski. “This full-size sedan makes plenty of headlines thanks to some incredibly powerful optional engines, including the 707-horsepower V8 found in the Charger Hellcat. With the right engine, this sedan can easily surpass over 200 mph.”

The 2019 Dodge Charger offers a choice of five powerful trim levels — SXT, GT, R/T, SCAT Pack, and SRT Hellcat. The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission generates 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Charger R/T features a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, also paired to the standard transmission, to put out 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Move up to the SCAT Pack trim for a 485 horsepower-rated 6.4-liter HEMI V8.

“An extremely clear Uconnect infotainment system is a nice plus point. There is even comfortable seating for five adults,” adds Kurczewski.
