Each year, influential female creators and entrepreneurs from around the country gather to discuss topics like politics, business, marketing, technology, and social change at the Mom 2.0 summit. Kia returned for its fifth year as the Premier Sponsor of the event as well as the lead sponsor of the 2019 Iris Awards, which honor the best in parenting across 15 categories.

The collaborative event has had many impressive guests, including Kristen Bell, who last year went crowd surfing to a Dave Matthews Band song, took shots with moms, and spoke earnestly with best-selling author Brené Brown about the struggles of parenthood. Brown made another appearance at this year’s summit as one of the two keynote speakers, along with author, actress, and director Amber Tamblyn.

As the Premier Sponsor, Kia hosted a special panel that aligned with its current marketing campaign, called, “Give It Everything: Make a Plan to Defy Odds and Exceed Expectations in Your Family Life, Career and Craft.” Panelists included entrepreneurs Natasha Nicholes and Michelle Garrett, writer Miranda Wicker, and LayToyia Dennis of the Motivated Mom.
