Kia Reveals 2020 Kia Soul EV
Along with the all-new, six-trimmed 2020 Kia Soul revealed yesterday at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia revealed details about its battery-powered counterpart, the Soul EV. Powered by a 201 horsepower-rated electric motor and 64kWh battery, the Soul EV combines the fun-to-drive performance of a crossover and the efficiency and environmental benefits of an electric vehicle.

The 2020 Soul EV features two trim levels: EV and Designer Collection. The EV Soul is equipped with four driving modes, Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Eco+, designed to deliver a responsive driving experience while supporting the Soul EV’s efficiency. Although similar in style to the 2020 Soul, the 2020 Soul EV possesses its own distinct design identity with features including a solid front grille with driver’s side charging door, signature fog lamps, updated rear and front bumper fascias, and 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels exclusive to the EV.

Vital vehicle statistics such as charging information and panic notifications are clearly communicated via the Soul EV’s updated UVO telematics system. Safety features, both standard and available, abound in the Soul EV, including the suite of Kia Drive Wise driver assist technologies. Smartphone integration is possible via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. Bluetooth® wireless connectivity with voice recognition keeps you connected while your hands remain on the wheel. Vehicle safety systems such as traction control, pedestrian warning system, electronic stability control, antilock braking, and hill-start assist control help deliver greater driving confidence and a responsive performance.
