All-New Hyundai i20 Sketches Hint at Design
The all-new Hyundai i20 supermini car will be unveiled this October at the Paris Motor Show, but Hyundai generously revealed two sketches of the i20 ahead of the debut. Check ‘em out:
All-New Hyundai i20 Sketches
The Hyundai i20 was designed in Rüsselsheim, Germany, at Hyundai’s Design Centre Europe. The B-segment model will now embrace Hyundai’s popular “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0” design philosophy, with features like a sculpted body design and a long hood. Both the interior and exterior are described as “clear and simple.”
As demonstrated in the Hyundai i20 sketches, the typical Hyundai hexagonal grille has been reinterpreted, now featuring a strip that links the left and the right headlamp. You can also see that the blacked-out C-pillars give the i20’s rear window a wraparound appearance.
The Paris Motor Show will open to the press on October 2, 2014, and to the public on October 4, 2014. It will close after October 19, 2014.
